Marigold Magiculucrum

Marigold Magiculucrum is a magician and party entertainer bringing curious surprises, quick wit, and a little theatrical mischief to celebrations across Greater Boston. She performs at birthday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, school events, and family gatherings—usually in emerald velvet, occasionally with a playing card stuck to her sleeve. Her shows combine sleight of hand, visual illusions, and audience participation. Borrowed objects turn up in improbable places, predictions take unexpected turns, and someone inevitably asks to check her pockets. Volunteers get to help make the magic happen, with plenty of room for enthusiastic children and guests who prefer to watch from their seats. Marigold offers interactive party shows, close-up magic during receptions, and shorter performances for community events. She works with each host to plan around the audience’s ages, the space, and the rhythm of the celebration. Her favorite moment is the brief silence after a trick, just before everyone starts talking at once. Behind the scenes, she maintains an unreasonable collection of antique keys and consults regularly with her rabbit, Clover, who is listed as a business partner despite contributing very little to the bookkeeping.
