Terms of Use
These terms govern your access to and use of TruePage. By using TruePage, you agree to them.
What TruePage provides
TruePage publishes useful pages about local businesses and lets customers submit service requests. Business pages may be assembled from public or otherwise permitted information and may not have been created, claimed, verified, sponsored, or endorsed by the listed business.
TruePage is an information and request-delivery platform. We do not provide the listed services, employ the listed businesses, or act as their agent. Unless expressly stated, TruePage is not a party to any agreement between a customer and a business.
Business information
We aim to present useful factual information, but business details can change and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should confirm material details directly with the business before making a decision.
Business owners and authorized representatives may request a correction or removal by emailing support@truepage.co. We may ask for reasonable verification of identity and authority. A correction request does not automatically establish ownership of or control over a TruePage.
Quote requests
When you submit a live quote request, you ask TruePage to store the information you provide and share it with the selected business so the business can consider and respond to your request. During the pilot, delivery may be handled manually. TruePage does not guarantee delivery, a response, availability, pricing, quality, licensing, insurance, or any particular outcome.
You are responsible for evaluating a business and deciding whether to hire it. Any services, payments, warranties, disputes, or other dealings are between you and the business.
Acceptable use
You may not use TruePage to:
- Submit false, deceptive, abusive, unlawful, or fraudulent requests.
- Harass businesses or other people, or send spam or bulk solicitations.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority.
- Interfere with, probe, scrape excessively, or disrupt the service.
- Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to data or systems.
- Violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.
We may limit or block activity, decline to deliver a request, or take other reasonable action to protect TruePage, businesses, and users.
Your submissions
You retain ownership of information and content you submit. You give TruePage permission to host, process, reproduce, and share it only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, deliver your request, prevent misuse, and comply with law. You represent that you have the right to submit it.
Intellectual property
TruePage's software, design, branding, and original content are owned by TruePage or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Business names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on TruePage does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
Copyright, trademark, or other rights concerns may be sent to support@truepage.co with the page URL, the material at issue, your contact information, and an explanation of your concern and authority.
Disclaimers
TruePage is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, TruePage disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and results. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, TruePage will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or damages arising from dealings between users and businesses. TruePage's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes, termination, and governing law
We may update or discontinue parts of TruePage and may revise these terms by posting an updated version and date. We may suspend access for violations or risks to the service or others.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Massachusetts, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
